The open books.

Total funds, where the money comes from, and where every dollar goes.

This is how the open books will work. Every number below is a sample, there to show the design. Real figures appear here the day the books open, once the Fellowship is a registered organization with its own account.

What the open books will show

  • The congregation's total funds, on this page and on the home page.
  • Every source of money: book sales, gifts, mission businesses, grants.
  • Every use of money, program by program, down to the dollar.
  • Anonymous gifts counted in the totals, with no name shown.
  • The endowment and the investment club, once they exist: what is held, what it earned, what the earnings built.
The statements
  • Monthly statement: every dollar in, every dollar out, by program
  • Yearly report: the whole year on one page, reviewed by someone outside the congregation
  • Named gifts shown with the giver's permission; anonymous gifts counted in the totals with no name
Your own account, laterMembers will be able to sign in to see their own gifts, their receipts and the projects they funded. Nothing of the kind exists yet, and nothing on this site collects personal data.

Every gift returns to the people, and every member can see where every dollar goes.
